Audubon Naturalists in Training "ANTS" for Summer Camps

ANTs, short for Audubon-Naturalists-in-Training, is for teens entering Grade 7 or higher in the fall who love to be outside and work with children. ANTS assist our Outdoor Discovery Camp staff in leading our day camp of nature exploration, trail hikes, games, and crafts for kids ages 5-12. All ANTS, new and returning, attend this 1-day, 4-hour training course (10am to 2 pm), and commit to a total of 30 hours of service during this summer's Explorer, Pathfinder and Trailblazer day camps which take place between June 16-July 31. Attend this ANTS training at BFNR regardless of which property you choose to serve. Join the ANTS program by signing up for this training session. Questions and preferences for which camps you want to help with may be directed to Scott, sdetwiler@aswp.org. Session cost for first-time ANTs is $50. ANTs training is eligible for scholarships. Returning ANTs may choose a fee waiver.  Space is limited.
