Birdz Camp 201 (advanced) 6th - 9th graders (June 29- July 3)

NEW FOR 2026: Two levels of BIRDZ! BIRDZ Camp 101 (June 22-26) to get your start. Already did BIRDZ?  Return for BIRDZ Camp 201 (June 29-July 3) to take your birding to the next level! More trips, more birds!

BIRDZ 101 or Equivalent is required. This week, June 29- July 3) , is BIRDZ 201. For children entering 6th - 9th grade who have done Birdz camp before, or an equivalent experience. Campers will develop new skills by spending quality time in the field with the correct equipment and with our expert guides. Included are field trips to Powermill, Carnegie Museum and unique habitats in the region (field trips subject to change). This is an all day camp, from 9 am - 3 pm. Students must provide their own lunches. Some days will have early starts to accommodate field trips. A schedule will be provided in advance. ASWP will provide transportation to the field trip sites, departing from Beechwood. Permission forms and gear list will be sent to participants before camp begins.
