Geocaching for Scouts - BFNR

Complete requirements 1-7 of the Geocaching Merit Badge. Learn geocaching basics in preparation to hide your own cache. Participants will need to bring their own GPS-enabled device, such as a smart phone or a standalone GPS that has a walking mode. GPS-enabled smart-phones will need a geocaching app installed. Requirements 8 and 9 will have to be done independently outside of the workshop to complete the badge. We are registered merit badge counselors for this badge. Workshop will both inside and outside; dress for the weather. $10 per scout. Please bring your Blue Card. NOTE: At least one responsible adult must attend with each troop represented in order to meet safe scouting requirements. No charge for this adult.
