Backyard Stream Repair

Join Audubon and Penn State Extension to learn more about backyard stream repair solutions. The program includes a set of pre-recorded webinars that you can view at your own pace, followed by an in-person field day where you can put what you learned to practice—including stream evaluation, and different approaches to riparian buffer and streambank stabilization. Participants in this  workshop will receive a copy of the Penn State Extension publication, Simple Solutions for Your Eroding Backyard Stream. This program ($30 value) is offered at a discounted rate with funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Five Star and Urban Waters Grant. Space is limited – registration is required. $5 per member, $10 per nonmember.
