Leaves are not the only characteristic that defines a tree species; bark, twigs, buds, shape, and even smell can be used to identify a tree during the winter months. Join us as we take a closer look at the diverse species of trees present along our trails. We will discuss the wildlife benefit and historical use of the various species encountered. Free.
