Did you know that you can identify a tree species just by looking at a twig? Leaves are not the only characteristic that defines a tree species. Bark, twigs, buds, shape, and even smell can be used to identify a tree during the winter months. Join us as we take a closer look at the diverse species of trees present along our trails.
