Birdz Camp at Beechwood 6th - 9th graders

For children entering 6th - 9th grade. Birding is cool, fun, and the fastest-growing outdoor activity in America. Campers will develop new skills by spending quality time in the field with the correct equipment and with one of our expert guides. Included are field trips, including  North Park, Moraine State Park and a bird banding station (field trips subject to change). Each participant will receive binoculars and a field guide. This is an all day camp, from 9 am - 3 pm. Students must provide their own lunches. We will have two early starts. Friday we begin at 8 AM; and one other day to be announced we will also begin early. ASWP will provide transportation to the field trip sites, departing from Beechwood. We charter a driver and a school bus from a local bus company. Permission forms and gear list will be sent to participants before camp begins.
