Fireflies guide you on Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve’s trails to encounter larger-than-life costumed nocturnal creatures. Hear stories from creatures such as a Great Horned Owl, observe the acrobatics of the Flying Squirrel, go batty with Little Brown Bat, and meet a real-live creature of the night!

Learn to harvest native seed while you help ASWP’s native plant nursery to replenish its stocks—and you’ll be able to add to your own plant collection. Participants will gain hands-on experience collecting, cleaning, and sowing a variety of native plant seed.

Choose from Family Ride or Adult Ride when you register. Join us as we roll down the Butler-Freeport Trail to explore nature in the fall. We will observe what leaves are changing, what flowers are blooming, and what birds are migrating south.
